Vernon L. Melton, a widely respected engineer and inventor founded Melton Machine & Control Company in 1970. Initially the Company was involved in a variety of areas related to factory automation. However, Melton Machine & Control Company quickly built a reputation for its unique equipment and expertise in automated arc welding. Since 1978 we have devoted our resources almost entirely to building automated arc welding machines. Today we are recognized as a premium quality equipment builder and a leader in the field of automated arc welding.
